ABAA Member

Children's Book Gallery is a proud member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA).

Founded in 1949, the ABAA promotes ethical standards and professionalism in the antiquarian book trade in America. The ABAA also promotes these values internationally, through its affiliation with the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB). The ABAA has the strictest and most sweeping Ethics Code in the book trade, and all ABAA members are bound by it. The Ethics Code requires that all material offered for sale is authentic, accurately described, and that a full cash refund, or other mutually agreeable settlement, is available to any purchaser for any item that does not meet these standards. No other antiquarian book trade organization can give that kind of guarantee, and the ABAA backs that guarantee with an Ethics Committee to hear complaints regarding any members.

Children's Book Gallery believes that ABAA booksellers are the best in the business, and offer their customers the best books, backed by the best consumer protection, in the book trade.
