Our Children's Books

Children's Book Gallery deals in children's books from 1750 to 1950 that represent the best of the marketplace, both in rarity and condition. We sell to, and buy from, individual and institutional collectors, auction houses, and our bookseller colleagues.

Our books generally fall into the following categories:

• Early children's books: grammars, chap books and moral instruction before 1850

• Color "picture and story" books

Our primary focus is on 18th, 19th and 20th century books with interesting color and strong graphics aimed at children younger than adolescents, but we seek and present all kinds of children's books with charm and character.
