Sell Books

If you are considering whether to sell your children's books or book art, we are happy to discuss that process with you. Children's Book Gallery considers buying books from our customers in several ways:

Purchase
We consider purchasing our customers' books when they are right for our market, and for our estimation of their commercial value. If a book is of interest for purchase, we must buy at a wholesale rather than retail price. We are always happy to discuss this purchase process.

Consignment
We also from time to time accept books to sell for our customers on consignment. In such cases we provide our customers with a written consignment agreement, detailing the terms and conditions of the consignment. Any sale that occurs of consigned items nets our customers 60% of the sale price, and nets Children's Book Gallery 40%. Again, we are always happy to discuss this consignment process.

Donation
Our customers are also able to work with us regarding the gifting of their books or book art for tax credit through donation to a library, museum, university, or charitable institution. Contact us for further information on donation.
